The Seymour Challenge

The historic course returns for it's 52nd anniversary and 38th running on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Bring the family out for an adventure they will remember. Your participation will support the DEVO/Cannondale pb Fortius youth cycling, Vancouver's longest running and most successful youth development program.

Mt. Seymour provincial park contains three sister mountains: Mt. Seymour, Mt. Elsay and Mt. Bishop. Named after the 3 peaks, we created three registrations options that combine a tax receipt and a souvenir jersey, hat or socks. Regular and kids registration also available.

Challenge Clothing

By choosing one of the three challenge categories to support youth, you can take home one of these Cypress Challenge souvenir items. Note: Jerseys will be direct shipped to your home approximately 6 weeks after the event.

 

 

Team Challenges

When registering, create or join a team. There is no limit to the number of riders on a team, but there is recognition if you’re the largest! Team results will be recognized in the following categories:

  • Largest team
  • Fasted mixed team (first 2 females and 3 males on the team)
  • Fasted male team (first 5 on the team)
  • Fasted female team (first 4 females on the team)

Event Details

Package pick-up: Registration opens at 8:15 am on Sunday, at the Parkgate Community Centre, and closes at 9:45.

Parking: Ample parking is available at the top of the hill, limited parking at the bottom. allow about 15 minutes to coast down from the top.

Bag shuttle: bags drop can be dropped at Registration, and picked up at the top.

BBQ at the top: Your race entry includes a BBQ lunch in the Celebration Zone at the top of the mountain, and an entry for some great draw prizes!
